What you’ll be doing – your accountabilities

• Ownership of the BCM policy and process, setting an International and regional BCM programme
• Developing Business Continuity strategies and approaches in line with recognised standards
• Delivering effective advice on Global crisis response against BCM incidents
• Conducting post-incident reviews and lessons learnt to enhance plans and processes
• Conducting horizon scanning activity for new and emerging risks both internally and externally, being sure to engage key stakeholders
• Driving the development of BCM capability through understanding industry trends and emerging models for BCM management
• Representing the Service team on pan BT crisis management calls and BCM forums

Skills required for the job

• Demonstrable experience and Qualifications in ISO22301 and associated methods
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to chair in a crisis
• ISO22301 deployment experience
• Compliance / Assurance knowledge and experience
• Business Continuity Audit experience
• Ability to interpret and analyse a variety of internal and external information sources and relate to BT Business
• Storytelling with data: strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences.
• Crisis management planning and execution
• Pandemic and Industrial Action planning experience
• Stakeholder management and reporting at all levels
