It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.

Job Description

About the Role

The Manager, Technical Product Integration is responsible for leading the successful implementation, integration, and ongoing adoption of BD APM’s connected healthcare solutions. This customer-facing role partners closely with health systems, clinicians, IT teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment, optimization, and support of software and SaaS-based products.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, healthcare IT integration experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers during implementation, configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of BD APM capital and software solutions.

  • Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and escalations, partnering with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to drive timely solutions.

  • Build strong customer relationships that increase product adoption, drive customer satisfaction, and support long-term retention.

  • Collaborate with APM R&D, Marketing, and Product Security to develop customer-facing product statements for IT/IS questionnaires and product reviews.

  • Develop and deliver technical and clinical training programs for customers, including clinicians, biomedical engineering teams, and hospital IT staff.

  • Analyze support trends and recurring issues to identify opportunities for process improvements and reduce escalations.

  • Plan and execute software and firmware upgrades while minimizing disruption to customer clinical and operational workflows.

  • Collaborate with hospital IT and EMR teams to integrate BD APM solutions with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms.

  • Provide consulting and subject matter expertise to help customers expand system utilization and maximize the value of BD's technology solutions.

  • Lead and mentor team members while promoting continuous improvement and customer-centric service delivery.

  • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting healthcare software products, system integrations, or healthcare IT environments at a hospital, integrated delivery network (IDN), or health system level.

  • Experience implementing and supporting SaaS applications and enterprise software solutions.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, IT infrastructure, and clinical environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EMR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Meditech, or Allscripts.

  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, and IHE.

  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, XML, HTML, SOAP, and scripting languages.

  • Familiarity with medical device connectivity and integration.

  • Familiarity with medical devices cybersecurity concepts.

  • Experience within the medical device or healthcare technology industry.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare IT infrastructure, networking, wireless technologies, and EMR connectivity.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence outcomes without direct authority.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong customer relationship management and consultative skills.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
