Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Creative Project Manager to lead and oversee complex creative projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within a creative environment, and the ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.

This candidate will also be expected to lead by example in how projects are set up, use an in-house project management and collaboration tool, assess and book resource and communicate with wider stakeholders.

The Details

  • Lead complex or high value projects, and effectively manage a team of supporting Creative Project Managers if the project requires

  • Creating project plans and key documents for medium and longer lead projects, using resource information, and managing projects based on this. Ensure alignment with brief goals and expectations.

  • Ensure effective use of budget (where required) and creative resource

  • Communicating plans to project teams clearly and effectively

  • Managing the approval process, and escalating if support is required

  • Troubleshooting issues, escalating when required

  • Using our internal project management tool or Microsoft equivalent to manage and deliver all projects, book resource and communicate project information

  • Striving to constantly improve planning, processes and procedures required to deliver content and make recommendations to senior members of the team, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maintained at the highest level

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports and other team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity and growth

  • Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years+ experience working in house or at an agency delivering complex digital creative marketing campaigns

  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders, both internal and external, across multiple functions

  • An enthusiastic and proactive attitude. Although the team requirements and objectives are very clear, this role needs to be flexible and versatile, to adapt to the type of projects and workload that may arise as the business requirements evolve.

  • Proven experience of working within a team, and a desire to continue to do so. ASOS is full of talented people, experts in their field. An important part of your job, especially at the beginning, will be building relationships between the different teams within HQ and local offices

  • A strong understanding of onsite, digital and creative outputs with excellent time management skills and an ability to drive a project forward to ensure it meets its deadlines

  • Experience managing a range of production dependencies across a wide range of platforms e.g. Mobile, desktop, email, display advertising, social, apps whilst communicating effectively with a wide team with varying skill sets, to deliver content.

  • Exceptional at multitasking and thrive in a fast paced environment. The ability to multitask and deliver a range of different assets, at different times, or all at once, is essential

  • Previous experience with project management tools and MS systems is essential

  • Brilliant verbal and written communication

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Dynamic, innovative and lateral thinking and problem solving skills
