Job Description

Topshop is back and we’re building something bold!

As Head of Merchandising, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the brand’s next chapter, driving commercial success across online, stores, and wholesale. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives on the fundamentals of planning and trading, but also brings the vision, agility and influence to elevate Topshop’s strategy and performance.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Category and cross-functional merchandising teams, helping them think bigger, trade smarter, and deliver results through a global assortment that reflects Topshop’s brand vision.

The Details…

  • Own the delivery of divisional sales and profit through effective planning, forecasting, and in-season trading
  • Define and sign off sales, stock and intake plans (OTB) in partnership with the Head of Category and GMP
  • Analyse divisional KPIs to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure BTA remains realistic and responsive
  • Optimise range performance across ASP, width & depth, intake margin and sell-through
  • Use data and insights to support decision-making and identify future growth opportunities across online, stores and wholesale
  • Resolve trading issues quickly and collaboratively, working across functions to find effective solutions
  • Coach, mentor and influence cross-functional merchandising roles to drive consistency and commercial thinking
  • Champion business-wide initiatives and projects, positively influencing and driving change
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and evolve Topshop’s strategy

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.
