We’re ASOS, the online retailer for fashion lovers all around the world.

We exist to give our customers the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you’re free to be your true self without judgement, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

But how are we showing up? We’re proud members of Inclusive Companies, are Disability Confident Committed and have signed the Business in the Community Race at Work Charter and we placed 8th in the Inclusive Top 50 Companies Employer list.

Everyone needs some help showing up as their best self. Let our Talent team know if you need any adjustments throughout the process in whatever way works best for you.

Job Description

We’re looking for a data-driven, commercially minded E-commerce Manager to help drive ASOS’s sales performance in the US. Working closely with the Head of US, you’ll own sales forecasting, promotional planning, and day-to-day performance management across key KPIs including traffic, conversion, revenue, and margin. You’ll build a deep understanding of commercial performance, using data and insight to respond to changes in customer behavior, manage risk, and unlock growth opportunities. You’ll translate commercial priorities into digital merchandising strategies balancing growth and margin trade-offs, and keep a close eye on the competitive landscape.

The Details

  • Forecast, monitor, analyze and explain the trajectory of our KPIs, proactively identifying risks to the business plan and implementing actions to improve performance
  • Plan and manage the promotional calendar, partnering with cross functional teams (marketing, pricing, planning) to ensure consistency across touchpoints
  • Actively manage trade-offs between driving sales versus protecting margin, adjusting strategies as priorities shift
  • Analyse customer behaviour data to identify user pain points and areas of friction that are impacting conversion rate
  • Identify gaps in our assortment and opportunities to further improve relevancy of our product with our target customer in market
  • Maintain competitor and market intelligence: monitor local market propositions, promotional cadence, and pricing strategies strategies
  • Support with P&L management and scenario modelling to evaluate the impact of different commercial strategies and investment choices

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.

Qualifications

About You

  • Experience in e-commerce, with responsibility for sales forecasting and performance management and proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, with hands-on experience tracking and optimising KPIs (eg traffic, conversion, revenue, margin) and evaluating commercial trade-offs
  • Experience managing promotions, pricing, and trading calendars
  • Understanding of digital merchandising, customer behavior, and conversion optimisation
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills are a baseline; proficiency in SQL and Adobe Analytics (or comparable analytics platform) are preferred
  • Self starter with a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
  • Background in fashion e-commerce is a plus
