  • Enjoy a hybrid working model and a healthy work-life balance with flexibility based on business and location requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Network Engineer to join our team supporting one of our APM Terminals IT Hubs. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining network infrastructure across regional terminal operations while contributing to the modernization, standardization, and security of our networking environment.

You will collaborate with global technology teams, operational stakeholders, and third-party partners to ensure reliable network services that support critical business and terminal operations. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex networking initiatives while helping shape the future of technology within a world-leading logistics organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability, stability, and performance of terminal networks across the region.
  • Resolve network-related incidents and service requests using ServiceNow and other service management tools within agreed service levels.
  • Execute global network change programs while maintaining effective change management practices and minimizing service disruption.
  • Maintain secure network configurations aligned with APM Terminals standards, policies, and security requirements.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to provide visibility of network performance and support proactive operational management.
  • Troubleshoot network and communication issues in collaboration with global teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain network flow diagrams, topology documentation, and application communication documentation in line with industry standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset, curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.
  • Strong expertise in networking technologies, architectures, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing secure LAN, WAN, and WLAN network solutions.
  • Hands-on experience within Cisco environments, supported by a CCNA certification as a minimum; CCNP certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting operational technology (OT) networks, with Siemens Scalance knowledge considered an advantage.
  • Experience working with security technologies, including firewalls; relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities using tools such as Wireshark and similar network diagnostic solutions.
  • Experience with network monitoring platforms including Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or equivalent technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple vendors, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience reviewing and planning network physical topologies and infrastructure architectures.
  • Knowledge of wireless networking technologies, including 802.11 and Private LTE environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and incidents simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
