We’re looking for a proactive Strategy Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our enterprise-wide strategic priorities.

As a Strategy Consultant, you’ll partner with Directors and senior leaders to develop strategies, align stakeholders, and drive strategic planning across the business. You’ll lead on designing target operating models, business capability planning, and support the evolution of our strategic frameworks—translating high-level challenges into actionable initiatives that deliver real impact.

This is a varied and influential role that blends consultancy, leadership, and hands-on problem-solving.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate strategic planning, operating model design, and business capability improvements

  • Diagnose business challenges and develop collaborative plans to address them

  • Coach and train business leaders in best practice analysis, root cause identification, and long-term strategic thinking

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and Executive Committee

  • Support delivery planning, ensuring risks and dependencies are managed for successful implementation

  • Develop financial business cases and influence prioritisation of critical work

  • Drive continuous improvement in Health & Safety and champion a zero-accident culture

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business-related discipline

  • Management consultancy experience, including leading strategy projects at a senior level

  • Strong experience in developing strategies, strategic planning, and transformation

  • Familiarity with operating model design and business architecture

  • CMI Level 7 – Strategic Management and Leadership certification (desirable)

  • Experienced in building trust and empowering high performance

Skills & Knowledge:

  • High analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management

  • Commercially astute and highly articulate communicator

  • Ability to navigate complexity and deliver outcomes

  • Skilled at building trust and credibility with senior leaders

  • Highly collaborative, fostering inclusive and productive environments

Key Behaviours:

  • Do the right thing—prioritise safety, collaboration, and high performance

  • Build trust—set clear expectations, communicate transparently, and involve others

  • Always exploring—curious, open to new ideas, and positive about change

As a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to:

  • Full private healthcare with no excess

  • 26 days leave, rising with service + Bank Holidays, with flexibility for religious holidays

  • A flexible working culture

  • Competitive pension scheme – we double-match your contributions up to 6%
