Job Description

We’re here to rid the world of bad shopping experiences. It’s a bold aim, and one that needs both a dynamic team and a very different way of working. That’s why we want people who can weave their unique skills, experience and character into a global team that learns, shares, grows and succeeds together. Our people are all stewards of the business, helping us to win through care, commitment, and conviction – and in return we open up a whole new world of flexibility around where, when and how you work. It’s an exciting time to be part of Amplience. We have new leadership, new goals, and new opportunities. So, let’s find out where you fit in… And if you’re still wondering what we actually do…
Amplience is the AI Content company that brings together data, performance insights and generative AI. We help 400+ of the world’s biggest brands, from Liberty and Mulberry, to Argos and Crate & Barrel, deliver persuasive content for every shopping context, fueling truly personalized and connected experiences.

What to Expect As the Global Vice President of Partnerships, you will be responsible for identifying strategic partnerships that drive customer growth for Amplience. The partnerships that we foster must turn the dial for us commercially and are diverse in nature. Our partnerships at one level are very strategic with some very large and well-established ISV’s where we need to continue to develop multi dimension, global GTM plans together. On another level we work with local boutique SI’s and through tight collaboration build high converting pipeline. The ideal candidate will have proven success in leading successful indirect sales initiatives via partnerships and have experience with aligning partner motivations with desired business outcomes to build creative programs that align to Amplience’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting the global partnership strategy across ISV, Technology and SI partnerships.
  • Identify companies as prospects for strategic growth.
  • Define and achieve revenue based metrics aligning with wider company KPIs/OKRs.
  • Manage all aspects of business development – from initial outreach through, creative partnership development, deal negotiations, commercial term development and contract signing.
  • Oversee and work closely with the Global Partner Team to identify areas of strategic growth across all regions.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Amplience products, services and VP and how to best attribute that to strategic partners.
  • Develop and maintain reports including pipeline, forecasting, lead opportunities and closed won reports.
  • Thorough competitor knowledge and good understanding of market conditions to lead and collaborate with the team in developing and implementing effective go-to-market strategies (new integrations, new features, new markets) with new and existing partners.
  • Travel regionally and nationally up to 50% of the time to meet with customers/prospects, partners, attend tradeshows, etc. Travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experienced in building excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues, and broader teams internally and externally.
  • A background in eCommerce/Retail/SaaS and partnerships.
  • Revenue oriented, enthusiastic self-starter, with a proven track record of providing problem-solving leadership and meeting revenue targets via solutions-based consultative sales best-practices.
  • Prior experience within a SaaS platform or eCommerce organization driving adoption of a SaaS-based solution with Partners and their clients.
  • Able to perform under pressure and able to remain collected and focused in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment.
  • A high degree of business acumen, along with the ability to negotiate creative, complex deal terms from initial deal terms to signed contracts.
  • Highly collaborative, “we’re here to win” outlook, willingness to perform and get things done, strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others.
