Job Description

Job Description:

Are you ready to drive change, foster a culture of commercial excellence, and lead strategic transformation projects? As the Regional Perfo & Transformation Manager at Satair, you will act as the primary representative for the Commercial Process, Performance & Transformation (ASCX) team in your region. You will bridge the gap between regional teams and the central ASCX pillars of processes, performance, data analytics, and automation to support Satair's commercial objectives. We are looking for a structured, results-oriented leader who can influence without authority and advocate for the region's needs within a complex, shared Airbus ecosystem.

What the job is

You will report to the Head of Commercial Data Analytics (HO ASCXY) and integrate into a multi-disciplinary team spread across the globe. In this role, you will serve as the regional node for a centralized cross-functional team, meaning you will not have direct reports but will lead by influence across regional commercial teams, account directors, and operations.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Regional Commercial Project Portfolio Leadership: Accountable for the regional commercial project portfolio's financial impact and performance metrics, leading transformation projects using LBIP and Agile methodologies.
  • Regional AOS Roadmap Execution: Take accountability for the successful implementation of the AOS (Airbus Operating System) regional roadmap in alignment with ASCX and the Regional Managing Director.
  • Regional Representation & Connectivity: Act as a critical connector between regional teams and ASCX, representing ASCX in the Regional Customer Satisfaction Review Board (R-CSRB) and other commercial forums.
  • Culture & Continuous Improvement: Proactively drive a culture of creativity, commercial excellence, and continuous improvement by identifying and addressing systemic "irritants".

Travel days to be expected are approximately 30% (domestic and international).

How you will contribute to the team

We are looking for a proactive professional with an excellent problem-solving mindset and an ability to translate data into actionable insights. You must possess a keen understanding of business issues, key stakeholders, and external dynamics which inform priority setting.

You must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, accompanied by 5-10 years of proven experience leading cross-functional, regional, and global continuous improvement and transformation projects in a complex setting. A strong understanding of aviation aftermarket commercial operations is highly preferred, as are additional certifications in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean). You will thrive in this role if you possess a high degree of agility in learning, exceptional communication and presentation abilities, and a proactive "can-do attitude". Because you will be networking globally, an excellent command of both written and spoken English is required, while proficiency in a secondary language relevant to the assigned region is preferred.

What does your next challenge look like?

At SATAIR, we believe in sustainable aviation that allows people to travel and connect across the globe.

We are on a mission to provide world class material solutions that keep aircraft flying and extend their lifespan.

In Satair, you can challenge the status quo, pioneer new ways of working, and generate real value for airlines and suppliers worldwide.

Being part of the Airbus family gives us the opportunity to live a global mindset, working in international and diverse teams and collaborating across functions, sites and cultures.

If you want to work as one team embracing a can-do attitude in a demanding environment, then we offer a great place to explore, learn, and grow, making an impact on aviation’s digital and sustainable transformation.

Come on board and join us at Satair, an Airbus Services Company!
