Job description

Job Description:

Airbus UpNext is looking for a HR Advisor, offering a 360-degree view of the employee lifecycle in a fast-paced "startup" incubator.

At Airbus UpNext, we don’t just follow the roadmap, we build it! Our objective is to explore new technologies and to support the strategic ambitions of Airbus. As part of the HR team, you’ll help to shape the ecosystem that enables our teams to grow, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing environment.

You’ll be working in a multicultural company, with employees based in France, Spain, and Germany, while being fully embedded in the Toulouse-based HR and Transversal teams. Your day-to-day will mix operational support and learning opportunities, and you’ll be part of a small and agile HR team involved in a wide range of topics.

This is a 6-months limited mission (CDD), based in Toulouse (Saint-Martin du Touch), starting ASAP.

Your Flight Plan (Key Responsibilities)

Working in close collaboration with the HR Director and the HR team, you will:

  • Support key HR projects in line with 2027 priorities such as supporting the development of Airbus UpNext employees (through a specific UpNext development cohort, and other means), manage the roll out of professional elections for the 4 legal entities in France;
  • Participate in delivering HR operations:
    • Administration of activities in collaboration with Airbus support functions (Reward Ops, Legal, Finance, Security, IT, etc.)
    • Use of Workday, Google suite, and in-house Apps
    • Consolidate and structure HR information and guidelines
  • Contribute to enhance the UpNext health & safety culture (well being, occupational risks...)
  • Contribute to a good social climate and constructive dialogue with the staff representatives.

Your Boarding Pass (Requirements)

  • Knowledge of labor relations/HR processes, fast learner on compliance rules, and Operational Project Support
  • Digital Native: You are "digitally fluent" with G-Suite/Google Workspace and have a genuine curiosity for HR data analytics
  • Professional fluency in English is non-negotiable (it is our daily working language). Proficiency in French is a plus.
  • The "UpNext" Mindset:
    • Audacious & Humble: You are impatient to achieve results but empathetic in your approach.
    • Autonomous: You take ownership of your tasks and can be trusted to run with a project.
    • Detail-Obsessed: You understand that great strategy is built on clean, accurate data.

What’s in it for You?

  • A Global Launchpad: Work in a truly international environment with daily collaboration across Europe.
  • A Real Learning Curve: We don’t just assign tasks; we provide the strategic context behind them. You will be mentored by experienced HR professionals and involved in high-level business discussions.
  • Hybrid & Modern: A flexible work policy with a focus on results rather than "clock-in" times, based in a modern, collaborative office space.
  • Innovation at Scale: Get a front-row seat to radical technological breakthroughs in aerospace.

About us

Founded in 2017, Airbus UpNext is actively shaping the future of aerospace by using demonstrators to evaluate, mature and validate new products and services. Our purpose is to pioneer game-changing technologies with Airbus.
