Job Description:

Airbus Asia Training Centre (AATC) is looking for a Business Controller to join the team. In this role, you will d rive the financial operation, control structure and performance tracking to provide executive management with the critical, data-driven analysis required for strategic decision making.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Analysis & Value Creation

  • Executive Decision Support: Drive high level financial analysis and modelling. This includes designing and maintaining dynamic performance dashboards for profitability and key drivers, and leading the financial assessment and presentation of major investment business cases (capital expenditure (CapEx), sustainability, upgrades).
  • Treasury & Risk Management: Conduct critical simulations for treasury activities, evaluating the impact for hedging forecasts and loan refinancing opportunities.


Governance & Reporting

  • Statutory & Management Reporting: Own the entire financial reporting cycle, leading the preparation, analysis, and submission of all Statutory, Board, and internal Management reports.
  • System Integrity & Alignment: Manage the SAP financial system, ensuring all master data and reporting structures are aligned with Airbus Group standards. This includes resolving complex system issues to guarantee seamless data flow and integration across the General Ledger.


Operational & Efficiency Leadership

  • Working Capital & Credit Control: Proactively manage liquidity and credit risk, ensuring timely follow-up on overdue and accurate assessment of bad debt provisions.
  • Operational Control & Efficiency: Drive continuous process improvement by developing and maintaining clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Oversee and authorize operational expenditure by verifying all claims (including outstation) and processing Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Stakeholder Support: Provide essential financial support for external corporate initiatives, including assisting with applications for government Grants and Tax Incentives.


Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accountancy
  • 1-2 years of work experience in Finance. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Analytics and data visualization
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Ability to convince/influence and take initiative
  • Team player
  • Ability to work with and collaborate with various departments and diverse stakeholders
  • Able to work independently, multitask and speak up where necessary
