Job Description
The Role
ADS operates a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to support specialist business development opportunities on behalf of our members and to help shape and influence policy in order to increase investment in our sector. These SIGs are mature and have clear outputs to drive value and impact, we now have a need for a dedicated individual to help co-ordinate the SIGs across the team, to help deliver against our strategic priorities and to capture the benefits realised in these fora’s to inform our membership impact report.
This role will support senior stakeholders across the UK EU landscape, including ADS membership engagement with the Front-Line Commands, Ministry of Defence, DE&S, Single Source Regulations Office and NATO Industry Advisory Group (NIAG). This role will be instrumental as a key point of contact for the Defence sector team and support key events including DSEI, Air Capability Symposium, DPRTE and Farnborough International Airshow.
Would suit candidate with sound secretarial and marketing skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Membership organisations, CRM functions and defence/security industries useful. Flexible and willing to work under own initiative with good communication skills. Must be willing to undergo National Security clearance.
The role directly reports to the Head of Business Development.

The Contract & Benefits
Permanent; fulltime role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Location; Hybrid working- 3 days in the London/Farnborough office and 2 days from home
