Join Our Team as a Field-Based Supply Chain Auditor in the Home Insurance Sector!
You will play a crucial role in shaping the repair delivery process for our Home Insurance customers. As you work in the field, you will witness projects firsthand and ensure they are executed correctly. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing quality, managing costs, and improving customer experience as we continue to expand.
About the Role
In the position of Field-Based Supply Chain Auditor, you will collaborate with our repair and restoration supplier network by conducting audits, evaluating performance, and raising standards.
You will work closely with Supplier Relationship Managers, internal claims teams, and supplier partners. A substantial amount of your time will be spent on-site, reviewing repairs during or after completion, and using your insights to influence the delivery of work across the supply chain.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct site-based audits of drying restoration and building repair suppliers
- Review work during and after completion to evaluate quality and compliance
- Analyse supplier performance against SLAs (Service Level Agreements), KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and contract terms
- Generate clear and concise audit reports with actionable recommendations
- Support governance and process management throughout the supply chain
- Contribute to the development of schedules of rates and claims approaches
- Benchmark performance to uncover opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate audit records and documentation
- Collaborate closely with Supplier Relationship Managers, claims teams, and suppliers
- Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify ways to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer outcomes
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes
- Support broader audit activities across the business and share your expertise
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Experience with audit processes in a household claims environment
- Understanding of schedules of rates and insurance reinstatement contractors
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Proven experience in delivering improvements in cost and/or quality outcomes
- Capability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
Preferred:
- Experience working for a home insurer or large intermediary
- Industry qualifications (Dip/Cert CILA/CII and/or MCIOB/MRICS) or actively pursuing them
- Familiarity with CoreLogic
Working Pattern
This is a field-based role that will require substantial travel throughout the UK, including the far north and Scotland.
