Job Description

Company Description

Salable, part of The Adaptavist Group, is an all-in-one monetisation platform that simplifies payments, licensing, and subscription management for SaaS businesses. We focus on providing flexible and automated billing solutions without the need for complex infrastructure.

What we offer you

We offer a very generous holiday (PTO) allowance, trusting you to take vacation time that suits your personal life, alongside flexible working hours that empower you to work when it best fits you and your team. We provide MacBooks to all employees and additional support for fully remote workers to set up their home offices.

Our exceptional Time Away Policy includes 26 weeks of fully paid leave for birthing parents, 13 weeks for non-birthing parents, and extended leave for adoption, IVF, surrogacy, elective egg freezing, and women's health needs such as menopause, menstruation, endometriosis, and PCOS.

Our trusting, flexible, remote-first way of working means that work can fit around your life, rather than your life fitting around work.

Job Description

About the role

As a Senior Product Manager, you will define, own, and execute the end-to-end strategy for Salable. You will translate complex monetisation and product challenges into clear objectives and actionable plans. Working closely with engineering, design, marketing, support, and analytics, you will guide the product from concept to delivery, ensuring that every release aligns with our goals and creates measurable value for customers.

You will represent the product across the organisation and in external conversations. This includes understanding the technical foundations well enough to make informed trade-offs, and understanding the commercial landscape well enough to position Salable confidently in the market. You will communicate the product vision, priorities, and rationale to prospective customers, internal stakeholders, and partners.

A core part of the role is strengthening Salable’s product discipline. You will improve how we gather insights, validate opportunities, shape the roadmap, and maintain alignment across teams, ensuring we focus on the most impactful work as the product and company continue to grow.

What you'll be doing

  • Set and evolve Salable’s product vision so it reflects customer needs and business goals

  • Turn strategic goals into clear product plans and explain the thinking behind them

  • Lead early customer and sales conversations to test direction and position the product confidently

  • Build and maintain an outcome-focused roadmap that shows what we will do and why

  • Make informed prioritisation decisions using customer insight, data, and technical constraints

  • Ensure teams stay aligned on scope, goals, and expected impact

  • Guide engineering, design, marketing, analytics, and support through discovery and delivery

  • Break work into well-defined initiatives so teams can move with clarity and pace
Remove blockers, make decisions quickly, and keep initiatives on track

  • Build a strong understanding of customer behaviour through interviews, research, and analytics

  • Use these insights to refine strategy and validate new opportunities

  • Stay aware of competitor moves and technology trends that may influence the product direction

  • Set measurable goals for major initiatives and review performance after launch

  • Adjust plans based on what works, what does not, and what customers actually need

  • Support a culture of learning and improvement within the product team

Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager shipping successful products in a technical environment, ideally with ownership of a complex platform or system.

  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, create clear roadmaps, and drive cross-functional execution from discovery to launch.

  • Ability to manage, mentor, and develop a product team, creating clarity, setting priorities, and supporting high-quality delivery.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain product decisions and technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Comfortable partnering closely with engineering and design, making informed trade-offs, and navigating ambiguity.

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data, research, and customer insight to inform decisions.

A few nice to haves

  • Experience working in a fast-moving startup or high-growth environment.

  • Background in payments, finance, or monetisation systems, especially those involving billing, pricing, or revenue operations.

  • Familiarity with developer-facing products or API-driven platforms.
