Job Description

Oracle Cloud Procure-to-Pay ManagerCareer level: Manager (CL7) ·Location: London / Manchester / Edinburgh ·Practice: Finance Reinvention Partner (Oracle)About Finance RP

Within Accenture, the Finance Reinvention Partner helps clients improve financial performance around the CFO agenda — driving best-in-class performance, and sharper insight and benchmarking across the enterprise. In the UK and Ireland, our Finance RP practice brings together finance strategy and the platforms it runs on, including SAP, Oracle, Workday and EPM.

You'd join our Platforms transformation offering within the practice: a growing team delivering large-scale, business-led finance transformations on Oracle Cloud, and building AI into how we deliver. It's a place to go deep on Procure-to-Pay and procurement transformation while staying close to the CFO agenda the work serves.

Why this role

This role owns the Procure-to-Pay workstream end to end on large-scale Oracle Cloud finance transformation programmes, in front of the client — the full cycle from sourcing and requisitioning through to how suppliers are paid. It's a role to become the finance design authority clients rely on across P2P, and to grow into the practice's go-to for getting procurement and payables design right on Oracle Cloud.

Accenture is a leading solutions and services company. Our strategy is to be the reinvention partner of choice for our clients and to lead in the safe, widespread adoption of AI. We bring together our people, deep industry expertise and technology to deliver end-to-end outcomes for clients — and Finance is one of seven Reinvention Partners at the centre of that. Finance RP brings the CFO agenda to life for clients — stronger performance, sharper insight, and better control.

"Our clients want a partner that can help them reinvent—boldly, continuously and at speed… while continuously building the most client-focused, AI-enabled great place to work for our people—our Reinventors." — Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO

What you'll bring

Procure-to-Pay expertise. Deep command of the Procure-to-Pay cycle in Oracle Cloud, from the finance lens: Oracle Cloud Procurement, Sourcing and Payables — requisition-to-receipt and invoice-to-pay, sourcing and procurement contracts, supplier and spend management, three-way match, and payables through to payment run. You know how P2P design flows through to accruals, working capital, cash and the close, and where the controls have to sit.

Procurement and payables process design. You design the P2P process end to end — how requisitions, purchase orders, receipts and invoices move, how exceptions and holds are handled, and how approvals and controls are set so finance can stand behind the numbers. You bring a clear view of procurement and sourcing processes and the challenges they throw up in a large organisation.

Procurement data structures. A strong grasp of the data underneath P2P — supplier and item master, spend categories and classification, and how those structures shape reporting and control. You've handled data migration and integration into Oracle Cloud, and the functional data conversion, transformation and reconciliation that make a cutover hold together.

Finance process context. A clear view of how P2P connects to financial close and controls — accruals, reconciliations, working capital — and to the adjacent finance processes it depends on.

Leading delivery. You lead the P2P workstream end to end — fit-to-standard, business process design, testing and deployment — as the primary finance design authority for the domain. You bring a clear view of the functional, application and technical implementation elements of an Oracle Cloud ERP programme, manage dependencies with adjacent finance processes, and work closely with Oracle delivery and integration teams while keeping ownership of the finance outcome. You lead functional teams across onshore and offshore delivery, facilitate design forums with senior procurement, finance and operational stakeholders, and keep programme leadership clear through structured status, issue management and decision recommendations.

Growing the practice. You contribute to how the practice grows — supporting proposals and bids, shaping P2P and procurement-transformation approaches, and building reusable assets and points of view.

Ways of working. We're increasingly an AI-first delivery team — bringing agentic tooling and orchestration into how we design, analyse and deliver, with our people owning the judgement and the outcome. An understanding of Oracle Cloud's own AI capabilities and agents, and of persona- and journey-led design, is a real plus.

Who you are

You take ownership and lead from the front. You build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and coordinate procurement, finance and operational perspectives with confidence. You bring a collaborative leadership style and a value-led mindset — you can link P2P changes to better cash and working capital, fewer invoice exceptions and stronger spend control — and you develop the people around you. Running workshops, managing stakeholders and expectations, good judgement, critical thinking and clear decisions under pressure are second nature.

Things that set strong candidates apart: a track record delivering Oracle Cloud P2P and procurement transformation on large-scale programmes; experience across complex, multi-entity or multi-country work; the confidence to lead senior client design discussions; and a professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent industry experience).

If you have most of this and the drive to build the rest, we want to hear from you — tell us what you'd bring.

What's in it for you

Alongside a competitive salary and package (dependent on experience), you'll have an extensive benefits package including 30 days' holiday a year, private medical insurance, and 3 additional days' leave a year for charitable work of your choice.

Accenture is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of society.

Accenture reserves the right to close the role earlier should a suitable applicant be found.
