You are responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. This includes project governance, budget and timeline development, build quality, testing and operational readiness, and the completed project’s readiness to go live.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Drive consistency and quality in the execution of projects using the appropriate methodology and tools
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks and escalate them to global leads and/ or the program manager when needed
  • Provide project reporting and status updates using scorecards, status reports and monthly review meetings and leading stakeholder meetings
  • Track budget management, resource planning and utilization
  • Confirm the completion and consistency of projects and their readiness to go live

More about this role

We are seeking a dynamic Global Program Manager to be part of the Global Engineering PMO to lead the rollout of key enterprise digital programs (Digital Smart Factory) including Internet of Things (IoT), Capital Expenses and Line Design applications

You will coordinate cross-functional global teams and external partners to deliver robust, scalable solutions and frameworks, and you will enable and support regions and sites to implement these solutions consistently and effectively.

1. Global Program Integration & Alignment:

  • Strategic Coordination: Ensuring a cohesive and unified approach across all regions and functions within the Global governance framework.

  • Integrate diverse inputs from Global Quality, Supply Chain, and MDS teams to develop and maintain coherent deployment strategies for key enterprise digital programs.

  • Consistency & Clarity: Drive consistent interpretation and application of critical program elements across all assigned digital programs, including:

  • Defined scope expectations

  • Deployment milestones

  • Readiness criteria

  • Effective change management strategies

2. Regional Coordination & Visibility:

  • Support regions and sites during pilot and deployment phases through guidance, escalation management, and best-practice sharing

  • Establish and maintain a single, consolidated, and transparent view of deployment status for key enterprise digital programs) across all regions.

  • Collaboration with Regional Leads: Coordinate closely with regional leads to:

  • Consolidate regional deployment plans for all assigned digital programs into a comprehensive master program roadmap.

  • Track progress against agreed-upon milestones.

  • Proactively identify and address potential risks, dependencies, and misalignments across programs.

3. Program Governance & Oversight:

  • Support and enhance the effective operation of existing digital program governance forums.

  • Prepare and present regular status updates, KPIs, and decision materials to the Global Digital leadership, sponsors, and steering committees

  • Decision & Action Tracking: Ensure all critical decisions, actions, and escalations are clearly documented, communicated, and systematically followed up to closure across all programs.

  • Capture lessons learned from pilots and early deployments, update global standards and templates, and promote reuse and scalability.

4. Risk & Dependency Management:

  • Identify and analyze potential cross-regional and cross-functional risks that could impact the successful deployment of assigned digital programs

  • Dependency Surfacing: Surface and manage critical dependencies related to factors such as:

  • Vendor capacity

  • Regional resource constraints

  • Timely Escalation: Facilitate the timely and effective escalation of critical issues and risks to the appropriate governance levels, ensuring resolution and mitigation strategies are in place for all digital programs.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Project management certification such as PMP®, PgMP®, or PMI-ACP® is a strong advantage.

Job specific requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience (10+ years) in program management, project management, desirable within digital transformation, engineering, or technology rollouts

  • Demonstrated success working in or with a PMO, managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

  • Experience coordinating with regional/site teams who own local execution, and working with external vendors/integrators.

  • Familiarity with both predictive and agile/hybrid delivery approaches

  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of various enterprise digital initiatives and their impact on manufacturing or supply chain processes.

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across various functions and geographies, influencing without direct authority.

  • Analytical Skills: Structured, analytical, and data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization and managing virtual/global teams.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa.

  • Tools: Proficiency in program management software and collaboration tools.

Travel requirements:

  • 20%+ travel may be required.

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
