Circa £35,000 (dependent on skills & experience)

Permanent / 37 hours per week / Full-time (with flexibility for part-time working)

Huntingdon, Peterborough or Lincoln

Enable delivery excellence as a PMO Analyst

As a PMO Analyst within our digital asset transformation project team, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of the key day-to-day PMO services required by ‘Customers’ of the PMO.

You’ll also support the PMO Lead/Manager by taking ownership of a small selection of the PMO services

You’ll be involved in everything from maintaining schedules and plans, supporting prioritisation workshops, , facilitating governance, quality‑assuring RAID and reporting outputs, to developing and improving PMO tools, templates and documentation.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys problem‑solving, and loves enabling others to succeed.

What you will be doing

- Maintain programme and portfolio‑level plans, schedules and registers (risks, actions, issues, decisions, dependencies, benefits).

- Update project registers and performance systems, collating and compiling data for reporting and dashboards.

- Coordinate governance documentation — agendas, papers, minutes, action tracking and follow‑up.

- Ensure Projects and Programmes comply with portfolio performance standards, including quality assurance of RAID logs, highlight reports, plans and workbooks.

- Provide coaching and training to project teams on templates, tools and PMO processes.

- Manage secure files, documentation, and SharePoint repositories, including supporting onboarding of new team members.

- Develop, enhance and maintain PMO collateral, tools, templates and processes.

- Analyse resource and delivery plans to support realistic forecasting and improve delivery outcomes.

- Support production of dashboards and assist with the specification and testing of PowerBI reporting.

- Support collation, analysis and reporting of lessons learned.

- Provide facilitation support for strategic prioritisation events and workshops.

- Promote safe working practices and support a culture of continuous improvement in line with organisational Health & Safety expectations.

What does it take to be a PMO Analyst?

- Project management qualification or experience working on projects/programmes.

- Proven understanding of delivery and control processes (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).

- Experience collating, analysing and presenting data and producing reports.

- Strong organisational, prioritisation and risk‑management skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint.

- Experience working in a project, programme or portfolio‑level PMO.

- Experience writing risks and issues and supporting governance forums.

- Experience with financial planning or SAP forecasting.

- Ability to use PowerBI and experience supporting dashboard development/testing.

- Experience analysing and optimising delivery plans and resource models.

- Experience coaching and training others in PMO tools or processes.
