Job Description

Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VOIS) and we’re looking for a

UX/UI Designer

Your role in a nutshell:

This role as a UX/UI Designer at VOIS would be directly embedded in the workflows of Group Design Studio.

The Group Design Studio is a global Centre of Excellence providing Vodafone Group and local markets with strategic design guidance, with a vision to “design digital experiences our customers love”. We strive for experience excellence using the double diamond design methodology & principles. Design Studio creates reference designs for Vodafone Group and its partner markets and every design project (be it service, product, user experience or other) is measured against the highest levels of design standars.
You can expect to be working on various projects and platforms, such as the strategically highlighted OneApp (previously My Vodafone Application), other mobile apps, chatbots, web, e-commerce, retail platforms, or other omnichannel user journeys from physical to digital, rolled out to numerous markets worldwide.

Your primary focus will be on crafting visually compelling and highly functional digital user experiences and interfaces that set the standard for quality and usability. You will transform user needs into intuitive interfaces, designing user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes. Your expertise will shape the user journey, ensuring our digital products are both functional and delightful, ultimately enhancing the satisfaction of our diverse user base.

What you’ll do:

  • Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that prioritize ease of use and accessibility
  • Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes that showcase the final user interface
  • Implement WCAG accessibility guidelines to make our products usable by everyone
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure designs align with business goals and user needs
  • Be up to date with the latest UX/UI trends and technologies to continuously improve our products

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Fluent English (this is crucial as you will be working with UK-based team members on a daily basis)
  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant multiplatform digital products (web and mobile app)
  • A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive and accessible experiences
  • Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as knowledge of current web and mobile standards
  • A commitment to designing inclusive products that meet the needs of all users
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, the will and ability to present your designs to peers and stakeholders, argue for decisions when challenged and work effectively in a cross-functional team
  • A desire to push the boundaries of UX/UI design and create truly exceptional user experiences

The working language in this team is English, and some of the hiring managers involved in this recruitment process do not speak any Hungarian, so please make sure you submit every piece of your application is (resume, portfolio and etc.) in English.

In return we provide you with:

  • A dynamic environment where innovative ideas are always welcome
  • A collaborative community where your professional goals and work are supported by a diverse team
  • Access to internal and external trainings via other providers
  • A supportive internal coaching and mentoring culture
  • Corporate assets including a laptop and mobile phone with One Business Mobile Superior subscription (unlimited voice, text message, and data within the EU)
  • Cafeteria package
  • Private Medical Services
  • Employee Assistance Program to support your wellbeing and mental health
  • Life and accident insurance
  • You can work remotely overseas for 20 days a year
  • 16 weeks fully paid parental leave. This applies to all non-birthing partners who become parents due to birth or adoption
  • You and your family members can enjoy several discounts from our partners
  • You will be working in a hybrid model, which means 3 days working from home with 2 days office visit per week
