About this Role

We are seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer to support the design team in delivering clear, consistent and usable experiences across web platforms. The role focuses on screen-level design delivery, from wireframes and prototypes through to polished, developer-ready user interfaces, while also contributing to research activities and maintaining accurate, scalable design system assets. This opportunity is based in Egypt and is well suited to a designer with early product, UI or UX experience who is looking to grow into independent ownership of product areas over time

What you’ll do

Design screen-level user interfaces using established design patterns, including layout, spacing, hierarchy, interaction states and responsive behaviour.Maintain and improve the design system library, including component naming, variant organisation, instance management and identifying differences between design and production.Prepare design files for handoff, including annotations, specifications, asset exports and responses to implementation questions from engineering teams.Support research operations by helping with participant scheduling, script preparation, note-taking, session recording and first-pass synthesis.Deliver high-quality, on-brand and user-friendly designs in line with agreed delivery timelines.Contribute to smooth design-to-development handoffs and support product improvements informed by user research and data.

Who you are

You have 1 to 3 years of experience in UI, UX, product design or a related design role. Internship, freelance, agency placement or strong self-directed portfolio experience may also be consideredYou have experience creating end-to-end product design solutions in agile environmentsYou are proficient in Figma, FigJam or similar tools, with knowledge of component libraries, auto-layout, variables and design tokens. You understand responsive design across different devices and platforms. You have a strong grasp of UX principles, accessibility standards and design best practice. You can translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences. You communicate clearly with stakeholders and can explain design decisions with confidence and evidence. You have a portfolio that demonstrates user-centred design work and practical product thinkingA degree in product design, computer engineering, computer science or a related field is beneficial, although equivalent experience may also be relevant.Experience with AI-driven products, scalable design systems, usability testing, motion design, micro-interaction prototyping or HTML/CSS fundamentals would be advantageous.
