At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers – we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world. If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you’ll do

Working within the Group Treasury Department, the role of Treasury Analyst is a key operational position within the wider team. The role reports into the Assistant Treasurer, Systems and Operations but will provide significant support to the Financial Risk and Cash Management team with an opportunity over time for the right candidate to move into a treasury dealing role. The role requires active interaction with various internal stakeholders across the wider treasury team and group functions as well as maintaining excellent relationships with external partners.

The primary focus of the role is the support of the operational delivery of treasury management. The role will provide key support in ensuring that all interfaces (for example Bloomberg) into the Treasury Management System (TMS) are appropriately maintained and that accurate data is being fed into the TMS to allow the precise and timely management of all financial risk faced by the Group. The role also requires counterparty risk management through the daily collateral management processes, innovation, policy and governance awareness and application. The candidate requires the expertise to prioritise and multi-task, ensuring clear communication, focus, teamwork and co-ordination skills at all times. Strong skills in operations and controls are essential for this role.

• Manage the day-to-day collateral management process, agreeing valuations with banking counterparts and liaising with the dealing team for all settlements of cash movements. Ensuring that the Group is not overly exposed to individual financial institutions.
• Supporting the dealing team on regular tasks such as report building via the treasury management system and in managing all necessary Bloomberg data feeds.
• Managing the reporting processes of Investments and Liquidity for informing of exposures and positions as shared with senior management of the Department / wider Group. Ensuring that the Group maintains sufficient available liquidity to fund the daily operations of the Group.
• Support SOX compliance process for both Treasury Front Office and IT controls, including policy management
• Actively support process improvement/automation

Who you are

• Degree qualified plus relevant experience in a similar corporate/banking environment.
• An active and natural enthusiasm for keeping abreast of global economic developments and the ability to translate such developments into the likely effect on the risks which Vodafone Group Treasury manages.
• Business / Maths / IT background preferable.
• Able to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, ability to demonstrate applied and critical thinking, financial modelling skills and excellent communication.
• Strong Excel skills required, AI experience welcomed
