Role Purpose:

Responsible for end‑to‑end IP transport network capacity planning and optimization, ensuring sustainable network growth and performance.

To ensure the planning and alignment of transport resources to support evolving traffic demand, while maintaining efficiency, resilience, and long‑term network integrity.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership:

  • Own end‑to‑end backhaul capacity plans, ensuring timely and sustainable support for current and forecasted traffic demand across transport and IP layers.
  • Define and approve capacity dimensioning decisions, including utilization thresholds, expansion triggers, and optimization actions within the backhaul domain.
  • Own the issuance and validation of new service designs over the IP Backhaul network, ensuring capacity readiness, scalability, and alignment with transport planning principles.
  • Drive proactive capacity risk management, including identification, prioritization, and resolution of medium‑ and long‑term capacity constraints.
  • Provide authoritative capacity recommendations to stakeholders, enabling informed decisions on network evolution, efficiency, and investment planning
  • Services design Issuance and Validation SLA Compliance.
  • Design Governance Compliance,Adherence of issued services designs to approved planning principles, standards, and governance frameworks.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

  • 1-4 years of experience in IP Networks technologies.
  • Effective communication & influencing skills.
  • Excellent analytical & decision-making skills.
  • High Interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Huawei router platforms is preferred.
  • BSc of Engineering in Telecommunications.
  • Strong knowledge of IP network technologies.
