About this Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead API Development & Build Automation initiatives within the Infrastructure Management function. This role focuses on coordinating technical teams, driving automation-first infrastructure delivery, and ensuring that project milestones, service levels, and stakeholder expectations are consistently met. The individual will act as a key point of contact across teams, supporting delivery excellence while mentoring team members and contributing to their career development.

What you’ll do

  • Plan, organise and lead project activities to ensure successful delivery aligned with defined objectives and timelines
  • Oversee project scope, ensuring all activities are clearly defined, prioritised and executed effectively
  • Monitor progress, manage risks and implement adjustments to ensure successful project completion
  • Coordinate and balance team workloads to meet delivery priorities and agreed SLAs
  • Act as a single point of contact between stakeholders, product owners and technical teams
  • Support early design phases and provide input before formal change processes commence
  • Maintain clear and structured communication, ensuring alignment across all involved stakeholders
  • Document and report project status, progress and outcomes to senior management
  • Define project KPIs and regularly review deliverables to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, ITIL practices and industry standards
  • Identify, assess and manage risks, including preparing mitigation and contingency plans

Who you are

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams within infrastructure or software delivery environments
  • Strong knowledge of Angular, SCSS and RxJS
  • Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, high availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and service boundaries
  • Experience with data processing, analytics and data warehousing concepts
  • Proficiency in at least two programming or scripting languages such as Python (Django preferred), SQL, Java or Linux
  • Strong expertise in User Access Management (RBAC, ABAC) and secure-by-design principles
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and on-premise architectures
  • Strong background in IT delivery management and infrastructure implementation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across distributed teams
  • Experience working in international environments within the telecommunications industry
  • Fluency in English
