Job Description

Your day to Day

You will lead a high skilled Vodafone transport configuration team in an international matrix environment, providing vision and ensuring that efficient and innovative leading-edge procedures are in place to address local markets needs and requirements.

You will assure that all the network functionalities and the expected performance have been correctly recovered at the end of activities or changes implemented on the network.

You will act as reference point in configuration related aspects in the local market, but also in demand of cross market synergies or best practice sharing.

You will drive organizational transformation supported on automation & AI

Collaborate to the “Zero touch” configuration strategy with continuous improvements initiatives, increasing the automation of TX and Fixed networks.

You will delegate precise responsibilities, prioritizes the workload in the team according to the SLAs in place or to the severity of the service and customer impact. Owns proven ability to coach and mentor the team members to achieve the best results.

You will provide strong managerial guidance to the team, defines roles and responsibilities, and sets individual goals and performance objectives, in line with Technology targets and Vodafone Way vision and values

You will inspire team and stakeholders, sets direction to encourage innovative thoughts and ideas.

You will implement new internal procedures and processes to ensure a high-quality standard for network functionality. Periodically performs verifications regarding workplace and safety rules execution and implementation according to legal requirements and internal policies.

You will sets objectives, gives feedback, coaches, and evaluates performance of team members. Provide recommendations regarding technical and soft skills development of team members.

•You have deep knowledge and experience in telecommunication transport technologies

•You have general knowledge of a mobile network architecture

•You have knowledge and experience in transmission network configuration

•You have project management skills and ability to work as part of international team.

•English (B2 or above)

•German language is an advantage

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•BSc or MSc level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications.

•5-10 years of working experience with an Operator or a telecom equipment vendor

•Excellent communication, presentation & reporting skills in English (both written and spoken)
