About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in Linux administration, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS. The position also requires hands-on experience with observability tools and a proactive approach to incident and release management.

What you’ll do

• Maintain platform stability using observability tools such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and CloudWatch.
• Create actionable dashboards and alerts to proactively address system issues.
• Monitor system health and performance through robust logging and health checks.
• Ensure smooth release management and uphold operational excellence.
• Administer and secure Linux-based systems, including patching and performance tuning.
• Conduct incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Implement and maintain GitOps practices using ArgoCD.
• Automate workflows using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm to manage containerised applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support microservices architecture and service mesh concepts.

Who you are

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Brings at least 3 years of relevant experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Proficient in CI/CD processes and release management.
• Expert with monitoring ,health checks ,and logging
• Experienced in incident and problem management.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Strong communicator with excellent collaboration and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of microservices and observability practices.
