Role Purpose

Reporting to the Manager: Brand, the Specialist Consumer: Youth and Mass is responsible for Developing & executing GTM plans for Mass & Youth segments. Supporting Strategic segment campaigns, sponsorships, activations, and events for the Youth and Mass Segment. As well as working in close partnership with relevant business units to deliver on business and marketing objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Compile supporting marketing elements within agreed timescales on GTM plans for new and existing products to support business objectives and drive-up revenue – focus on Youth and Mass Segments
  • Work closely with the Creative Studio/ agency to guide the creative direction for campaigns, including imagery, audio scripts, videos, and production of various creative assets — ensuring alignment with brand tone and campaign objectives
  • Execute requirements for the contracting of suppliers and outsourced services to the department for electronic and multimedia platforms, and ensuring proper and timely follow up on the supplier chain
  • Provide support for internal and external company events, promotions, and product activations
  • Provide inputs into analysis of competitor activity for key media platforms, and recommend proactive win-back/claw back actions for Vodacom Lesotho
  • Liaise with various internal stakeholders, channels and business partners to implement campaigns, events, and product launch plans

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Degree or Higher diploma or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising or related field Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in Marketing & or Advertising for the services industry services, with experience of telecoms and financial services industries being a distinct advantage
