About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to provide timely, commercially focused and solution-oriented legal support to Vodafone’s international enterprise business. Based in Budapest, you will advise on complex commercial contracts, strategic projects, product development and telecommunications regulatory matters.You will draft and negotiate global agreements with major multinational customers, assess contractual risks and help the business achieve its commercial objectives while managing legal exposure. You will also improve end-to-end contracting processes, develop legal know-how and support colleagues and stakeholders through training and expert guidance.

What you’ll do

• Provide legal advice and commercial contracting support for Vodafone’s international enterprise business.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex global customer agreements and other legal documentation.
• Assess contractual risks and identify practical, commercially focused solutions.
• Support strategic projects, product development initiatives and business transformation activities.
• Lead and continuously improve contracting processes, templates and best practices.
• Partner with stakeholders across Legal, Sales, Commercial, Technology, Tax and Regulatory teams to achieve business objectives.
• Deliver training and guidance on contracting, legal processes and negotiation practices.
• Support telecommunications regulatory activities, reporting obligations and compliance initiatives.

Who you are

• You hold a degree in law and have passed the Bar examination.
• You have at least 8 years of relevant experience in commercial and contract law, or at least 6 years of relevant experience across commercial, contracting and telecommunications law combined with a Bar examination.
• You have extensive knowledge of commercial and contract law.
• You have experience providing legal support to commercial business activities, preferably in an international environment.
• You can independently lead complex contract negotiations with major multinational organisations.
• You demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a record of delivering practical legal solutions.
• You can analyse complex issues, identify material risks and recommend workable approaches.
• You communicate clearly and can build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and work collaboratively across functions.
• You bring excellent negotiation, project-management, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• You are proactive, dependable and comfortable managing changing priorities, complexity and ambiguity.
• You can meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards in a demanding business environment.
• You have excellent written and spoken English and are confident using Microsoft Office applications.
