What you’ll do

The Segment Lead handles the execution of the regional growth strategy across all commercial levers within an assigned geographic territory. Acting as the primary regional integrator, the Segment Lead works closely with the Center of Excellence (CoE) to translate subject-matter strategies into localized plans that address regional needs. The role ensures cross-functional coordination for implementation, drives market share growth, and represents the voice of the region internally. The Segment Lead is accountable for delivering measurable impact in acquisition, engagement, and revenue performance

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of regional commercial growth plans with support from CoE experts.
  • Prioritize and coordinate regional initiatives across sales, marketing, network, and distribution.
  • Own regional implementation timelines, execution quality, and local stakeholder engagement.
  • Track and report on regional performance KPIs, ensuring timely corrective actions when needed.
  • Recommend resource allocation (budget, activations, squads) based on regional priorities and impact.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in multi-functional environments (e.g. sales, marketing, ops).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Deep understanding of regional market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • 5–7 years experience in telecom, FMCG, or high-velocity regional business roles
  • Very strong statistical Analysis background.
  • Structured approach to gathering and representing data
  • Experience and background in a complex multi business environment essential
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Business specification and detailed design documentation.
  • In depth knowledge of key, internal Business processes of mobile telecommunications operations
