About this Role

We are seeking a Sales Support Lead to guide governance, cadence, and operational excellence across Business Pre‑Sales. The individual will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the Request‑to‑Cash cycle, ensuring smooth processes, insightful reporting, and alignment with sales strategy for Vodafone Business Unit UK. This role plays a vital part in maintaining functional effectiveness, embedding best practice, and driving digitalisation within Sales Operations.

What you will do

  • Ensure delivery timelines are achieved, with clear communication of progress against KPIs and NPS targets.
  • Co‑ordinate cross‑functional Sales Operations activities and maintain alignment across Business Pre‑Sales.
  • Develop and implement pre‑sales domain strategies and training that follow industry best practice.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the Request‑to‑Cash cycle.
  • Support the preparation and timely delivery of solutions and quotes to internal sales and business development teams.
  • Lead the co‑ordination, creation, and adoption of training, enablement, and governance materials for Sales Operations.
  • Ensure core systems and records are accurately maintained and governed in line with Sales Operations processes.
  • Provide hands‑on people management, guidance, and governance to a team of 10+ professionals.

Who you are

  • An individual with strong experience managing stakeholders, customers, and complex sales processes.
  • Experienced in Sales Support Operations (desirable) with thought leadership and sound decision‑making skills.
  • Skilled in team governance, providing constructive feedback and supporting career development.
  • Professionals with 7–10 years’ experience in global corporates and 10+ years in Commercial, Sales, or Operations environments.
  • Experienced in leading virtual teams delivering complex global projects.
  • Data‑driven with strong analytical and insight capabilities.
  • Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Telecoms; an MBA or equivalent qualification is desirable.
