What you'll do
As a Sales Operations Business Partner, you are a critical point of success or failure to the GCO Operations ability to transform operations into a service-driven business. You are the last mile of execution taking the operations services portfolio to the field.
You do so by performing the following tasks:
Become a trusted advisor
Enable the drive of aligned behaviors into the field while analyzing and identifying opportunities for improvement and simplification through the lens of business impact.
Understand your business
Understand core field requirements and operational processes to support successful alignment between the two for efficient decision making and execution.
Drive adoption
Champion and encourage change. Collaborate with the Centers of Expertise on rollout and enablement activities.
Enable decision-making
- Share information, consolidate insights/reports, and utilize the right tools to provide insights and recommendations to sales leaders.
- Create a close-loop between Center of Expertise and Field
- Provide feedback, share requirements, highlight concerns, opportunities, and best practices. Leverage forums to engage discussion and resolve challenges.
Execute
Take and share accountability for effective end-to-end execution including collaboration with Managed or Shared Services as well as other related teams within SAP. Execute relevant projects, providing hands-on support to the business while growing your experience.
Align with your stakeholders
Understand the needs of your stakeholders and enable a one-team approach for greater transparency and impact, expanding process standards to other lines of the business when beneficial.

- Decisions/solutions can essentially enhance existing systems & processes

Strong competence with various tools, procedures, and systems used to accomplish the job

- Build collaborative work relationships with similar functions across SAP
- Communicate clearly, in a way that others can understand within defined processes and policies
- Communicate relevant messages in a timely manner and provides constructive feedback to colleagues and managers

GCO Operations focuses on the successful creation, deployment, and execution of sales supporting processes, tools, and services across all GCO areas (including License, Services, and Education Sales) and in close alignment with related lines of business (including HR and Finance).
Sales Operations Business Partners collaborate closely with sales management to provide valuable performance insights and recommend actions that support revenue-generating business priorities.
