Role purpose:
A highly technical Engineer that works on building/deploying technical enablers for software engineering, including libraries, frameworks, CLI tools, plugins, runtime environments and self-service applications.

Key accountabilities:

• Develop modules & template projects to be used by squads to accelerate delivery.
• Build/deliver DevOps applications & software infrastructure components (tools & frameworks).
• Build/Implement component services to be re-used across different business domains.
• Support developers/teams using and solving issues with Tools & Frameworks built/delivered by platform team.
• Write test automation suites to validate functionality and detect regression automatically.
• Provide and maintain foundational compute, networking, and platform services required to run applications and services reliably and securely, across both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Provide, customize, configure, and deploy external, open-source, or vendor-supplied systems that are foundational to the platform’s operation.


What are we looking for:

• Experience with full stack software Development (4 years minimum);
• Experience building scalable and highly available systems;
• At least 2 year of Linux experience (Desktop and server), developing and/or deploying systems (must);
• Experience deploying and maintaining production-grade systems on-premises using container technology;
• Full-stack knowledge (Any of: Java, NodeJS, Go) and Web Frontend (TypeScript, SPA Frameworks);
• Web architecture (DNS, CDN, HTTP, Browsers, Reverse proxies, proxies) – must;
• Ability to learn fast and adapt to changes.
• English written and spoken.


Preferred professional qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator / Application Developer.
• Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS).
