Role Purpose/Business Unit:

Management of the regional RAN network, provide support for the maintenance teams to ensure network availability. Responsible for improving network availability KPIs. Improve VTTR through management of the FFO service provider, manage FFO SLAs. Network quality improvements through network quality checks. Provide inspection reports. Provide power audits reports. Ensure standby power availability.

Your responsibilities will include:

Network quality improvements through network quality checks Provide inspection reports. New site acceptance management.
Manage rollout of Energy projects in the region.
Ensure generator fleet availability
Coordinate, monitor and control contractor services.
Manage delivery by the field force managed contractor.
Build people capacity within the County and ensure that employees have clear work expectations, targets and goals to work according to (weekly work orders)
Drive cost efficiency by ensuring adherence to financial and operational policies and procedures, and reduce wastage related to time of subordinates

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Matric (Essential)
National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
8 plus years relevant experience

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

Radio Access Networks
Understanding of the RAN equipment
Power Management
Project management
People Management
8-10 years of experience in Radio Access Network maintenance
Direct Contractor management experience
