About this Role

We are seeking a skilled finance professional to manage the fixed assets register and oversee the complete capital expenditure (Capex) process. This role involves leading process improvements, ensuring compliance with audit and SOX controls, and supporting financial reporting and forecasting. The individual will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including commercial accountants and local market teams, to ensure accurate financial performance and reporting.

What you will do

  • Maintain the fixed assets register and manage end-to-end Capex processes
  • Post month-end journals and prepare fixed asset reporting packs
  • Create and improve controls and procedures for asset capitalisation
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely close activities
  • Support internal and external audits, including SOX and IPE compliance
  • Coordinate with project managers and partner teams for financial alignment
  • Drive automation and process improvement using tools like UI Path, Winshuttle, and SAP Fiori
  • Report VGX monthly pack to senior finance leadership
  • Lead automation and dashboard development projects
  • Manage budget uploads, asset creation, cost transfers, and disposals
  • Perform reconciliation reports and support statutory audits
  • Ensure adherence to risk controls, system rules, and SLAs
  • Liaise with commercial accountants and local market teams for financial performance reviews

  • Experienced in managing fixed assets and Capex processes
  • Skilled in financial reporting, audit support, and compliance
  • Proficient in automation tools and SAP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across teams
  • Proactive in driving process improvements and challenging the status quo
  • Able to manage stakeholder relationships and support forecasting
