Role Purpose

The graphic designer takes the lead on designing and creating engaging customer communications that define our organization.He/She will work on developing marketing materials for the brand and marketing team across all mediums including web and print, and act as the brand guardian within the team.

Job Profile

  • Develop marketing materials as requested for Brand and Retail teams - print and digital.
  • Develop sales material for channels – internal and external facing.
  • Work as part of a team with in-house marketing specialists, creative resources and consultants, in order to develop market leading creative concepts which, bring to life Vodafone communications in the local market.
  • Ensure comms are simple, easy to understand for the customer and impactful.
  • Suggest new trends to adopt in every given project with the aim of ensuring strong differentiating factors in company campaigns and events when compared to competition and other industries in the market.
  • Generate innovative ideas that will attract new audiences through unique content and integrated campaigns.
  • Adhere to Global brand guidelines.
  • Be a champion for design excellence in the team

Competencies & Qualifcations

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to explain concepts verbally and visual interpretation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative and enthusiastic team player.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Proactive and hands-on work approach.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years in design industry.
  • An education in graphic communication design, media, and typography.
  • Visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suit (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) is essential.
  • Good communication skills in English, good verbal, and written skills in country- (market-) specific language(s).
  • Experience in animation tools, pre-press production & printing is a plus.
