Role Purpose

The Customer Care Decision Support Associate Manager will act as the key Finance Business Partner for the Customer Care function, providing financial insights, constructive challenges, and decision support to drive cost efficiency, improve financial performance, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

  • Manage the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process for Customer Care, covering OPEX and direct costs.
  • Lead month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and evaluate business cases for new projects and initiatives, including financial feasibility, benefits, risks, and return on investment.
  • Prepare and review the Customer Care annual budget and long-range financial plans.
  • Prepare monthly cash-flow reporting and forecasts, explaining major movements and deviations.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide management with clear, actionable insights.
  • Analyze operational cost drivers and KPIs to identify efficiency and cost-control opportunities.
  • Partner with Customer Care stakeholders to challenge assumptions and support informed business decisions.
  • Track approved initiatives and business cases to ensure the expected financial benefits are delivered.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, reporting, automation, and data accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance requirements, and company policies.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and business-case evaluation.
  • Strong business-partnering and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and control.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SAP, Power BI, automation, or AI tools is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in Finance, Decision Support, FP&A, or a similar business-partnering role.
