About this Role

We are seeking a capacity management professional to help ensure a cost‑conscious and optimal balance between business demand and data centre resources delivered by VTIS. This role supports Vodafone Cloud Infrastructure across Local Markets and internal IT departments, combining analytical capability with infrastructure understanding. The position is part of a state‑aid project for which Vodafone Romania Technology / Vodafone Shared Services Romania has been selected.

What you’ll do

  • Learn, administer, and support the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimizer (TSCO) tool, including usage, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the first year.
  • Design, develop, and deploy automation scripts supporting TSCO and associated ETL components.
  • Build and deploy Bash/Shell scripts to enhance tooling capabilities.
  • Download, test, and apply tool upgrades and patches using vendor-provided scripts.
  • Within six months, produce and distribute capacity dashboards and reports covering CPU, memory, network, and storage utilisation, including trend analysis.
  • Develop workload-related capacity plans by analysing system and application resource usage.
  • Aggregate and analyse data to identify correlations between business KPIs and resource consumption.
  • Analyse time-based trends and patterns, modelling resource behaviour in response to application load changes or technical configuration variations.

Who you are

  • You have a solid understanding of enterprise IT technologies and a structured approach to statistics and data analysis.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English.
  • You are comfortable working in a multinational environment or are keen to develop this experience.
  • You have, or are willing to develop within six months, knowledge of:
    • Windows, Unix, and VMware infrastructure concepts.
    • Database infrastructure architectures such as Oracle, Sybase, and MS SQL.
  • You bring, or are motivated to build, skills in statistics, data modelling, reporting, and presentation.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and SQL programming is an advantage.
  • You are willing to learn ITIL practices and obtain the ITIL Foundation certification within one year.

What skills you will learn

  • Advanced capacity planning, modelling, and forecasting techniques.
  • Hands‑on expertise with BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimizer and related automation.
  • Practical scripting skills using Bash/Shell in enterprise environments.
  • Applied data analysis linking business demand to infrastructure consumption.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes in a global organisation.
