What you’ll do

As a Business Assurance Analyst, you will be the analytical backbone of Vodafone Greece’s business assurance function. Your mission is to protect revenue, margin, and operational integrity by developing and operating automated controls, extracting and analyzing data from multiple systems, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll work hands-on with large data-sets and all relevant systems like CRM platforms, billing systems, and other enterprise applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across critical processes.

More specifically you will:

  • Operate and Build Assurance Solutions: Design, implement, and manage automated 2nd line controls that monitor customer settings, transactional data, billing accuracy, and service usage trends.
  • Hands-On Leakage Risk Analysis: Extract and analyze large datasets from CRM, billing, and other operational systems using SQL and BI tools. Detect anomalies, identify root causes, and propose corrective measures. Perform root cause and one-off analyses using advanced data analytics tools (including SQL and BI) to identify risks and communicate mitigation gaps to senior stakeholders.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a trusted partner for first-line teams to resolve leakage issues, design new controls, and create transparency on required corrections. Collaborate across departments to embed assurance principles into processes.
  • Data Source Management: Acquire and maintain relevant data sources for assurance activities. Ensure availability and quality of data in assurance activities.

Who you are

• A technical, curious problem-solver who enjoys working hands-on and building innovative assurance controls.
• Proven knowledge of telecommunication processes and systems like CRM, billing and others
• Strong analytical skills, leveraging a full spectrum of tools—from advanced Excel for ad hoc analysis and reporting to programming languages such as Python or R for scripting, automation, and sophisticated data analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (or similar) for querying relational databases and handling large datasets.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data integration, and working with APIs to connect systems is a plus.
• Proven ability to design and implement automated assurance controls, leveraging data analytics to detect and prevent leakage risks, experience with assurance control solutions is a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in telecommunications or similar industry, including at least 4 years in a similar technical role.
• University education in IT, statistics, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams and geographies
• Fluency in English and Greek
