Supplier Governance Manager

Job Description

This role is part of the Tesco Mobile team and will be based out of the Tesco Mobile Slough, Welwyn Garden City or Manchester office.

Working as part of TM’s Procurement Chapter, TM’s Supplier Governance Managers ensure delivery of end-to-end services are achieved to agreed SLAs and underpinning KPIs, as well as identifying and managing to delivery continuous business improvements opportunities.

Your role will require you to directly manage Supplier Relationship Meetings (regular monthly or quarterly meetings) to monitor contracted service levels and KPI’s, and, more strategic cross business Annual Governance Meetings, in which a full review of every facet of a Suppliers performance is monitored and improved upon (including financial, engagement/relationship, commercial, contractual, operational, and security). You will also provide training and support across the business where these forums are managed by contract owners.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Demonstrate a track record of successfully owning and nurturing supplier relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively, both within the organization and externally.
  • Previous experience driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Previous end-to-end delivery excellence experience.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring experience: monitor supplier performance against contracted standards, including SLAs and broader performance metrics.
  • Balanced Scorecard Facilitation experience: Lead the development of a balanced scorecard approach, fostering collaboration between procurement and supplier partners to align performance perspectives and meet the needs of all functions.

The other stuff we are looking for We'd also love you to bring;

  • Experience of Telecoms would be advantageous
  • Experience of auditing processes, and knowledge of ITIL methodology.
