Job Description

Exciting new opportunity for a Business Continuity Officer to manage and lead the implementation of the VMO2 Strategy, Policy, and procedures. To ensure that the operational processes and documentation of the BCMS are fit for purpose and allow us to implement our chosen strategy of extension of scope for ISO certification across the whole organisation, and to maintain both certification and organisational resilience going forward.

You will also get involved in supporting and guiding all Business Continuity Champions across Virgin Media O2 division to remain BC complaint with reference to reviewing BC documentation, testing and hold training and awareness exercises.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

· Relevant Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery professional qualifications preferred, such as Certificate of the BCI (CBCI).

· Experience of working with multiple stakeholders including auditors.

· Proven experience of driving forward a strategy whilst also providing tactical thinking in the provision of pragmatic solutions when required.

· Knowledge of working with external vendors supporting the continuity strategy

We'd also love you to bring;

· A self-starting individual with a strong work ethic, capable of planning and managing their own time. Strong communication and organisational skills.

· Experience of Implementing business continuity policies and standards, ensuring that the needs of the business are met and that measures also reflect prevailing/emerging regulation and industry best practice.

· Knowledge of engaging in internal and external audits, both in support of ISO22301 certification and for other certifications and customers audits as required.
