Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Strategic Planning Manager to take ownership of our enterprise Plan of Record (POR) models and the analytical frameworks that power executive decision‑making. Sitting at the heart of our Strategic Planning function, this role blends strong financial and operational modelling, scenario design, and clear communication of insights that help senior leaders understand risks, trade‑offs, and opportunities.
The Senior Strategic Planning Manager will own key modules of the POR, lead scenario and sensitivity work, partner with cross‑functional teams to validate assumptions, and deliver high‑quality insights for executive packs. This role suits someone ready for a step‑up from mid‑level finance/strategy roles into a role with more influence, visibility, and technical depth!

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Corporate Strategy experience in a top tier TMT business and/or strategy consulting firm
- Understanding of the telecoms' market, digital services, and the potential opportunities and threats for the industry
- Experience of developing and modelling complex business cases
- Track record of developing viable solutions to highly complex business challenges
- Effective & credible communicator, with influence at all levels of business, able to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Excellent team-working and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships across the team and wider business
- Self-starting and motivated individual, resourceful and solution-driven, able to manage and successfully deliver multiple projects in parallel
- Strong awareness and understanding of commercial drivers of performance
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Skilled storyteller with PowerPoint capability and experience producing executive‑level analytical outputs.
- Experience with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Workday Planning) and BI platforms (Power BI/Tableau) is beneficial
- Be a trusted advisor to senior executives, including board members, on complex and critical issues
