What you’ll be doing...
Network Systems Business Enablement team is looking for a Distinguished Engineer who will be responsible for leading technology and IT process transformation within Network Systems. You will be a key team member in implementation of Network Systems' AI driven Operating Model (NSOM). You will be responsible for partnering with Network Systems teams in driving the implementation of NSOM process. You will also be responsible for providing operational data analysis, identifying further process improvements as well as technology improvements for NSOM.
You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Providing operational data analysis, which might include both technical, operational efficiency as well as financial data analysis.
Educating and conducting training on process and technology solutions for NSOM
Guiding Network Systems teams in implementation of NSOM.
Gathering feedbacks and suggest technology and process improvements for NSOM
Managing NS employee and vendor capacity planning as well as monitoring associated productivity measurements.
Monitoring vendor capacity, workload, and performance metrics to gain data insight
Identifying potential operational gaps for NSOM and providing technology and process solutions to close the gap.
Setting technology and process strategy in driving the continuous improvement for NSOM.
Recommending and experiencing technology and process innovations for NSOM.
Fostering an environment of high collaboration among Network Systems teams.
What we’re looking for
You are able to develop positive working relationships with a diverse set of individuals and teams in order to further the collective goal. You are curious about the business and enjoy solving complex problems. You are able to work collaboratively with all types of teams and individuals to perform root cause analysis, develop solutions and plans for implementation, and execute the implementation in a timely manner. You know how to fail fast and pivot if a proposed solution needs to be modified to reach the desired end state.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience in IT operations and application development and Maintenance.
Experience in Python or Java programming and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models.
Experience in data analytical skills and databases.
Strong data analytic skills and working experience with database.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in GenAI and associated prompt engineering.
Experience in working with various agile methodologies.
Expertise in a programming language - Python or Java, SQL, Service-based Architecture and Microservices.
Experience in the Telecom industry.
Possess communication (verbal/written) skills; including experience producing and delivering presentations to all levels of management across the organization.
Ability to create short and long-term strategies.
Be a strategic and analytical thinker who can analyze data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations and shape business strategy.
Ability to meet timelines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment while meeting deadlines.
Be results-oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
