Job Description

Company Description

Vattenfall is a European energy company with approximately 21 000 employees. For more than 100 years we have electrified industries, supplied energy to people’s homes and modernized our way of living through innovation and cooperation. We are looking for talented individuals who, in addition to their passion for their own role, also have strong team spirit and want to contribute to supporting a meaningful corporate mission.

Job Description

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for renewable energy and offshore operations? We're looking for a proactive and technically-minded Project Manager to oversee and coordinate a wide range of centrally and regionally driven projects supporting our offshore wind sites.

As the go-to link between central support functions and site teams, you'll play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and delivering safe and efficient offshore operations, from scheduled maintenance and contractor management to inspections and IT implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact between offshore sites and central support teams (engineering, technical support, etc.)
  • Oversee the planning and execution of regional projects such as full-scope annual maintenance (excluding minor correctives)
  • Coordinate tools, spare parts, and documentation to ensure execution readiness
  • Support planners by providing accurate scope details for execution plans
  • Manage third-party contractors, manpower, and statutory inspections
  • Lead site-based projects including IT rollouts, asset management tasks, and local retrofits
  • Ensure all RAMS, certifications, inductions, and safety requirements are managed before site work begins
  • Maintain accurate project data in SAP, including equipment, documentation, and resource needs
  • Review contractor service reports and track project performance
  • Collaborate with Site Managers to assign the right people for face-to-face site inductions
  • Drive regional project alignment and procurement synergy for maximum efficiency
  • Be accountable for project readiness and operational data during transition from construction to operation

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering (marine, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical education
  • Prior experience as a Specialist Technician (WT4) or similar offshore/onshore wind role
  • Solid project management background, ideally in the energy or offshore industry
  • Familiarity with O&M environments and knowledge of wind turbine operations
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, RAMS, contractor onboarding, and compliance processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you’ll be coordinating across teams, regions, and disciplines
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
