The Role

Up Learn is looking for a Product Designer reporting to their Lead Designer.

Up Learn’s app delivers the most efficient education to students throughout the UK, achieving a 97% success rate, helping students ace their exams with interactive video lessons, quizzes, exam preparation, and more.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Proficiency of Figma including experience in building and maintaining design systems.
  • Portfolio showing impactful UX and UI work across mobile and desktop platforms
  • Good understanding of responsive of design
  • Experience working with problems from discovery through to solution
  • Great written and spoken communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated

What you’ll do

Interface design

With great attention to detail, create comprehensive designs that are considerate of balance, typography, accessibility and cross-platform UI paradigms.

Understand customers

Talk to teachers, students, and parents to understand the problems they face with regards to education and revision.

Critique

Have open, honest discussions between designers and developers to maintain a high level of quality and pride in the work you ship.

Drive change

Independently and collaboratively work with product teams to create changes that result in positive outcomes for our customers.

Time

  2. 🏡 Hybrid working environment with two days in the office per week (one team day and one company day) and the rest is up to you!
