First we assess the flexibility options Up Learn provides and then we anonymously survey a statistically significant proportion of their employees to make sure Up Learn is as flexible as they say they are. Our assessment is based on the six key elements of flexibility: location, hours, autonomy, benefits, role modelling and work-life balance.

Since launching in 2016 we’ve achieved 97% A*/A success rate (with some students starting from grades as low as Ds and even Us), helped over 40,000 students, delivered over 10,000 scholarships to disadvantaged students, and achieved a 4.9* rating on Trustpilot. We’ve raised over £2.5m from exceptional investors including VC Forward Partners, the Chairman of Virgin, the Former President of American Express, and the Branson family, to improve and expand our product and create our next wave of A Level and GCSE courses, expanding our reach to new students every year.
Flexible working at Up Learn
At Up Learn we support flexible working with a balance between office and work from home opportunities.
We found this approach helps our team to find a good work-life balance whilst fostering collaboration and having some fun together when we meet in our office on Team and Company days.
Our working hours are typically 9am - 5pm with flexible start and finish times.
