About us

Since launching in 2016 we’ve achieved 97% A*/A success rate (with some students starting from grades as low as Ds and even Us), helped over 40,000 students, delivered over 10,000 scholarships to disadvantaged students, and achieved a 4.5* rating on Trustpilot.

We realised that, by creating a paid-for educational product as effective as Up Learn, we risked widening the attainment gap. That’s why, for every person that pays, we give a licence free to a person who can’t.

To date, students and parents have helped us transform the lives of thousands of students.

We’ve raised over £2.5m from exceptional investors including VC Forward Partners, the Chairman of Virgin, the Former President of American Express, and the Branson family, to improve and expand our product and create our next wave of A Level and GCSE courses, expanding our reach to new students every year.

Flexible working at Up Learn

🤸‍♂️ We provide a great set of benefits and flexible working that all focus on helping Up Learn team members lead healthy and fulfilling lives. We have a hybrid working environment with two days in the office per week (one team day and one company day) and the rest is up to you! Our working hours are typically 9am-5pm but if you prefer to work earlier or later, that’s absolutely fine

🌴 We offer a guideline of ~35 days of paid holiday per year made up of: 26 days of bookable holiday, plus UK (or local if non-UK, it’s your choice!) bank holidays, plus unlimited ‘extra days’ (i.e. if you need a few more days, no problem)

☕ We’re a very social company with a lot of activities, sporting events or socials happening most weeks. We offer unlimited paid coffee breaks for employees to get to know each other and once a year we organise a company retreat where we get out of the city for 3 days (paid!) and take a break together
