- Support and develop tooling, and the technical systems behind them, to ensure our Engineering team has reliable monitoring, alerting, and testing
- Engage in wider engineering discussions, sharing feedback and ideas that enhance our developer experience
Skills and Experience
We encourage you to remove education from your CV upon application as qualifications are not a driving factor in our decision making and we are committed to tackling educational inequality. We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. However, the following qualities are important for this position
- Experience with a mixture of both frontend and backend technologies, such as React, TypeScript and GraphQL, NodeJS, with a leaning towards backend
- A willingness to learn and expand your technical skills in other parts of our stack (AWS, Golang, Python)
- Experience creating impactful user-centric solutions, balancing robust, maintainable code with the agility required for timely delivery
- Embrace product mindset as a Platform Foundations Engineer: you are eager to learn about the needs of your user (Engineers) and adept at finding solutions for them
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity (we’re a startup after all) - you remain open-minded despite uncertainty and view change as an exciting opportunity to learn and grow
