Everyone has the right to a healthy mind

We’re building mentally healthier workplaces.

The FlexScore® is the result of a rigorous 2-step verification of a company’s flexibility

First we assess the flexibility options Unmind provides and then we anonymously survey a statistically significant proportion of their employees to make sure Unmind is as flexible as they say they are. Our assessment is based on the six key elements of flexibility: location, hours, autonomy, benefits, role modelling and work-life balance.

We ask the hard questions so you don’t have to.

What employees are saying

"I love working here. I've worked in other companies that say they have a flexible working culture, but the reality doesn't match. At Unmind, I've felt trusted and empowered since day one to work the way that is right for me."

About us

We’re building mentally healthier workplaces.

We help employees to lead more fulfilling and balanced lives by changing the way organisations think about mental health.

Rethinking mental health

Our mental health is determined by many aspects of life. From physical fitness to sleep, friendship networks to family relationships, self-esteem to mindset. None of these areas are fixed, and they’ll evolve and change for each of us throughout our lives.

Mental health is often misunderstood. Traditionally, we only hear of it when there’s a problem. When helplines are offered. Or counselling is needed. Far from a problem, mental health – like physical health – is something that should be proactively nurtured.

We believe people lead more fulfilling lives and organisations perform best when mental health is understood, nurtured, and celebrated. That’s why we’ve created a platform that empowers employees to measurably improve their mental health by giving them the right care at the right time.

Flexible working at Unmind

At Unmind, we champion flexibility and our proud to be a flexible place for our employees to work and thrive.

Each team has a specific day in the office each week, with dedicated office space catered to their needs. Where each Unminder chooses to work the rest of your working week is up to them. Every Unminder is empowered to work at a time that suits them, being mindful of core business hours, meetings you need to attend, and the availability of your team.

Approach to diversity & inclusion

✨ We are committed to building an inclusive workplace and encourage everyone to bring their whole selves to work. However you identify, and whatever background you bring with you, we welcome you to apply for a role at Unmind. [In our H1 2022 Engagement survey 'I can be my authentic self at work' scored 88% favourable']

📊 We run an 'Understanding our uniqueness' survey each year to understand more about the diversity of our teams and the experience of our culture at Unmind. This allows us to identify where we are doing well and also, where the are opportunities to improve the experience for Unminders.

🌏 Last year, we built a team of Diversity and inclusion advocates who we call our 'Movers & Shapers', they're dedicated to making Unmind an even better place to work. Every six months, they review a different focus within DE&I and wellbeing. For example, topics such as 'Psychological safety'.

🙌🏻 You will be joining a strong, talented team of ~170+ people who are deeply passionate about making a positive dent in the landscape of mental health worldwide. We have incredible investors, partners, clients, advocates, and ambitions... which is where you come in.

🚀 Our future success(es) will rely on the continuation of that momentum – of which our ability to find, attract, and retain exceptional people (whilst retaining our strong culture and values) will be paramount.

What do we think of Unmind?

Unmind are leading the pack when it comes to mental health in the workplace. Clearly, they also take the mental health of their own team members very seriously, offering a fantastic range of flexible working arrangements.

We want to foster a culture where everybody feels included, heard, and equal - regardless of age, disability, gender, neurodiversity, marital or parental status, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.
