The Role
The Water Efficiency Performance and Delivery Coordinator uses household meter data to help reduce water demand and meet business and regulatory targets. The role involves coordinating water-saving projects, supporting the Water Efficiency Manager, and overseeing team operations and third-party suppliers.
Responsibilities include managing analysts who support customers in reducing water usage and resolving leaks, including enforcing action when necessary. The role also ensures collaboration across departments to resolve customer cases, produces performance reports and analysis, and drives continuous improvement in processes, systems, and customer experience.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Stakeholder & contractor management: Build strong relationships with third-party water efficiency contractors, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Performance monitoring & analysis: Collect, track, and interpret performance and compliance data, reporting on variances, spend, and outcomes to drive improvement.
- Operational coordination & leadership: Manage the Customer Demand Reduction team, coordinate activities, align capacity with demand, and oversee project delivery.
- Customer journey & service improvement: Lead end-to-end water efficiency customer journeys, identify process gaps, and enhance service quality and engagement.
- Continuous improvement & strategy: Promote demand reduction initiatives, identify risks/opportunities, and implement improvements across teams, contractors, and customer interactions.
What We Are Looking For:
- Analytical & performance improvement: Strong analytical capability with experience in reviewing performance data and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Technical & process knowledge: Good understanding of income, customer service, and metering processes, with familiarity in systems such as Alto and INS.
- Communication & customer focus: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
- Regulatory & operational awareness: Solid understanding of compliance requirements and experience working to tight SLAs within operational environments.
- Collaboration & influence: Ability to build relationships with third parties, influence stakeholders at all levels, and share knowledge to support team development.
