Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly collaborative Land Sales team within Asset Management, following the promotion of the current post holder, highlighting the development and progression opportunities within the team.

The Land Sales team plays a key role in managing the sale of surplus land and property, using robust processes to maximise value while protecting the business from risk. As Land Sales Administrator, you will be central to keeping this activity running smoothly. You will bring structure, accuracy, and energy to a fast-paced environment, while developing your skills and building a strong understanding of property and land disposal processes.

The Role

This is a varied and hands on role where you will support the Land Sales team across a wide range of activities, helping to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. From maintaining accurate records to ensuring clear and timely communication, your work will play a key part in enabling the team to deliver strong outcomes.

You will help uphold high standards within the Horizon property database while contributing to the smooth handling of customer and stakeholder enquiries. Alongside this, you will take ownership of the risk assessment diary and support the management of safety standards across sites being prepared for sale, including those with public access.

There is plenty of opportunity to learn in this role. You will build new skills, gain valuable exposure to property and land processes, and make a meaningful contribution as part of a fast paced and supportive environment.

Working within a small, friendly, and collaborative team that supports one another and shares knowledge, this role is well suited to someone who is organised, positive, and eager to learn, with the ambition to grow in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Accountabilities

You will manage the Sales Team mailbox, taking ownership of raising, tracking, and progressing queries linked to internal and external stakeholder approvals. Alongside this, you will:

  • Source quotes for technical surveys and reports to support planning activity and preparation of sale data
  • Coordinate the transfer of technical reports and surveys to purchasers, helping to keep transactions moving smoothly
  • Raise purchase orders, resolve supplier queries, and complete goods receipting accurately
  • Produce Engineering Certificates in line with required standards
  • Manage the retrieval, scanning, and return of property deeds, maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Maintain Horizon records by creating, updating, and organising documentation to a high standard
  • Support the preparation of licences, tenancy agreements, and grazing agreements under Surveyor guidance
  • Take ownership of the risk assessment diary, including allocation, tracking progress, reporting updates, and closing out actions
  • Support the coordination of team meetings, including diary management, producing minutes, and tracking actions
  • Maintain action logs with key external teams, including Facilities Management, Legal, VAT, and Insurance
  • Keep planning data records up to date, including allocations, status, and review timelines
  • Liaise with Grounds Maintenance teams to track progress of works, including invasive species management
  • Support the administration of statutory compliance reports for residential accommodation

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you will be an organised and detail focused administrator who enjoys working in a busy and varied environment. You will feel confident managing multiple priorities, approaching tasks with a structured mindset, and staying on top of detail without losing momentum.

A willingness to learn is key. You will be curious, adaptable, and motivated to build your skills and knowledge over time, while contributing positively to the team around you.

You will also bring:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with a structured and systems focused approach
  • Experience using SAP for purchasing, alongside strong IT skills and confidence working across systems and managing data
  • A genuine interest in property assets, with a desire to develop your understanding of land and property processes
  • An understanding of risk assessment processes, combined with a positive and adaptable mindset and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Why This Role

This is more than an administrative role. It is an opportunity to be part of a close knit and supportive team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and team spirit are part of everyday working life.

You will be encouraged to learn, grow, and build new skills, gaining valuable exposure to property and land processes within a structured and well managed environment. It is a role where you can make a real contribution while developing your career.
