Job Description

The Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Process Automation is a team within the Technology & Data department in TUI Global Business Services. The CoE specialises in automating manual processes is the central unit for all Robotic Process Automation (RPA) activities within the TUI Group.

The Junior RPA Developer will work closely with the rest of the RPA CoE team to ensure that the work delivered is fit for purpose and will satisfy the Business requirements. As an internal ‘client-facing’ role, the role requires excellent communication skills to facilitate the exchange of technical ideas with non-technical stakeholders in order to design a fit for purpose solution.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Assist in the developing Robots and implementing of RPA solutions across all Business Functions.

  • Work closely with RPA Developers & Analyst ensuring that the Robots are efficient and of high quality – e.g. continuously perform technical tests and check the developed RPA solutions for plausibility, functionality, performance, quality before and during operational RPA operation. Further development possibilities and necessities incl. possible error analysis and elimination.

  • Create and maintain documentation (Technical Design Documents) for RPA solutions and test scenarios

  • Support all stakeholders with troubleshooting in regards of technical issues

  • Collaborate closely with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) ‘during’ and ‘post’ development stage

  • Maintain existing Robots and redesign solutions of existing Robots

ABOUT YOU

  • University degree or appropriate training in the field of informatics, or comparable knowledge

  • First experience (gained through internships) in the area of IT or automation

  • Basic understanding of UiPath

  • Experience gathering business requirements

  • Stakeholder management and communication

  • An interest to learn development

  • Structured & logical thinking

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Problem solver with prioritisation and planning / time management skills

  • Ability to operate under pressure / tight deadlines

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a global matrix, multi-geography, multi-cultural environment

  • Fluent in English, German language skills is a plus
