Job Description

Reporting to Customer Comms & CRM Manager this role will be responsible for delivering effective customer communications across our Crystal Ski and Tui Lakes & Mountains brands. You’ll be planning and delivering communications campaigns and strategies through email and other direct marketing channels that engage, inform and drive awareness.

The Comms & CRM Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering inspiration and information across the entire customer journey, helping customers choose, get ready and make the most of their holidays. You’ll work on marketing campaigns and communications across the post-purchase journey: post-booking, pre-departure, on-holiday and post-holiday communications

You’ll have a focus on planning and producing content, managing targeted campaigns and reporting on results. You’ll work closely with the Creative Services, Customer Services, Overseas and App teams to ensure customer communications and campaigns are consistent and aligned.

The role also involves working with teams across the business including the Brand, Data and Insights, Social Media, Joint Marketing, Commercial and Product teams.
Our holidays operate 7 days a week and as customer communication is central to our operations, the role requires coverage on various departure days during the winter season. Therefore, you’ll be required to support with weekend and ad hoc evening work in the months of December to April.

This role is being offered on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract and the closing date for applications will be Friday 25th October

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Support the Customer Communications & CRM Manager in creating, co-ordinating and developing customer communication campaigns, strategies ensuring maximum engagement and consistency.
  • Bring ideas for content, targeting and testing that you’ll have the chance to try out, test and then report on.
  • Plan and produce eCRM content including copywriting, image selection, editing and coding used to deliver engagement and bookings.
  • Create pre and post departure email campaigns, including supporting during the ski season with operational disruption communication – keeping our customers informed and up to date throughout their journey
  • Schedule and monitor the performance of regular email / direct customer communications, including performance tracking, testing and KPI reporting back to wider teams.
  • Monitor trends within the travel industry, customer communications and email marketing and be a champion for best practice.
  • Champion the brand across the business, delivering brand training internally / externally and bringing new creative ideas that work across other channels and monitoring competitor, email and social trends to be market-leading.

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing and communications with good creative and copywriting skills
  • Experience working with Cheetahmail as an ESP or similar
  • Experience in eCRM working with HTML (Adobe Dreamweaver is a plus) and Photoshop
  • Confident working with a range of stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail; experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus
  • Flexible, can-do attitude, with a drive to evaluate and improve
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present range of creative or reporting clearly
  • Self-motivated and a problem-solver demonstrating initiative
