Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service while handling legal claims? Join our Claims team at TUI where you'll manage personal injury and quality claims brought directly by customers, making a real difference to their experience.
Our Head Office is in Luton, but we embrace a flexible hybrid working model, requiring occasional office visits. This role would suit someone with claims handling experience or potentially a recent Law Graduate.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Handle a personal caseload of public liability injury/illness and quality claims from direct customers, investigating thoroughly and assessing both liability and quantum.
- Conclude claims in accordance with insurer mandates while providing high-quality service to our customers and meeting individual targets for claim settlements.
- Manage ABTA arbitration scheme claims including drafting defenses and negotiating settlements to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Handle Small Claims track proceedings for contractual performance issues, with opportunities to represent the company in Small Claims Court.
- Work closely with key suppliers to ensure straightforward recovery of unavoidable financial outlays.
- Maintain excellent customer engagement throughout the claims process while balancing commercial and customer service priorities.
ABOUT YOU
- Relevant experience in a claims handling environment.
- You 'll understand how to handle and investigate public liability claims brought by direct customers.
- A hard-working, self-motivated team player, comfortable managing heavy workloads and high-pressure situations.
- You can confidently engage with various stakeholders including customers, insurers, suppliers, lawyers, and the Courts.
- You have excellent telephone manner and understand the importance of customer engagement.
- Knowledge of the Package Holidays and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 is desirable but not essential.
- A Law Degree would be desirable bbut not essential
